To apply for a position with the City of Seaford, please fill out the appropriate application for the position you are applying for. There are two different applications. One for any position within the Police Department and the other is for any other City position. Applications must be filled out in full. If submitting a resume, an application is still required. All applications for positions other than the police department should be submitted to City Hall, 414 High Street, Seaford, DE 19973 or they can be faxed to 302-629-9307.

Full-time employment with benefits: health, life, long-term disability insurance, pension, and vacation. Completion of a six month probationary period is required. Normal working hours are Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. with some overtime hours required. Applicants must be able to multi-task, attend continuing education and seminars for all positions. This is an hourly position. High School graduation or GED required. Full time employment with benefits - health and life insurance, pension, vacation. Entry-level position. Shift work. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a written examination, medical exam, and drug screen. High School diploma required. NO CRIMINAL RECORD. Pay is $15.36 per hour or $31,948.80 annually.
