There are approximately 46 miles of streets to maintain within the City limits, of which 11.37 miles are State maintained and 36.8 miles are maintained by Seaford's Street department. CLICK HERE for a list of State maintained roads within the city. The Street department is responsible for repairing pot holes, patching water or sewer repair road cuts, street sweeping, leaf and limb pickup, snow removal, clean catch basins, street signage, and more.

It is sometimes challenging to complete street sweeping and leaf and limb pickup on a weekly basis. We try our best to provide both of these services every day, but sometimes are forced into diverting the man power to complete other tasks within the Public Works department.
